One voice in my head says, “just do it, go for it, you’ll never have another chance!” Immediately, another voice, “what makes you think you can do that? Better to not try than to fail.” Then another chimes in, “If you succeed, it would just be luck. If you fail, then everyone will find out….they’ll know you’re an imposter. Too risky!”
Many of us can relate to this inner chaos. It happens daily over the small choices—should I go for that run, what should I write in that work email—and the big—do I want to stay in this relationship, should I switch careers? How do we know which voice to listen to? Or why do we sometimes find ourselves frustrated with, ashamed of, or confused by the way we handled something in a given moment?
We will work together to help you to understand these internal conflicts, dial down the volume of the conflicts inside, and to be able to understand the important roles that all aspects of you play in how you respond both internally and externally to life events and stressors.
All parts are welcome. Instead of turning away, we turn towards all of ourselves. This is where we find the wholeness all of us innately have.
